NCT ID NCT01112020

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tested how much of the germ-killing ingredient chlorhexidine remains in special bandages after being worn for 7 days. 45 healthy adults wore different types of medicated dressings to see how much of the drug and a related chemical called PCA stayed in the patch. The goal was simply to measure these levels, not to treat or cure any disease.
