Chewing fix for kids with tooth defect?
NCT ID NCT07589179
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether dental treatment improves chewing balance in children with Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH), a condition that causes weak enamel and tooth sensitivity. 68 children aged 7 to 12 will receive a tooth-colored filling, and their chewing function will be measured before and after treatment using a digital bite sensor and a chewing gum test. The goal is to see if treatment helps them chew more evenly and comfortably.
