New hope for Late-Stroke patients: drug may reduce disability

Summary

This study tests a drug called tenecteplase in people who have had a stroke and can only be treated more than 4.5 hours after symptoms started. The goal is to see if the drug can help them recover with little or no disability. About 890 participants will receive either the drug or standard care, and their recovery will be checked after 90 days.
