First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a quick, point-of-care blood test can deliver heart attack results faster than standard lab tests for 600 adults with chest pain in the emergency department. The goal is to see if this speeds up decisions and reduces time spent in the ER. Participants must have symptoms suggestive of a heart attack and already need a troponin test as part of their care.
