Summary
This study tested a program designed with Cherokee community members to help reduce heart disease risk. Researchers worked with 42 Cherokee adults to create and try out activities that strengthen community ties and share Cherokee history. The goal was to see if these activities could lower blood pressure and improve mental well-being.
