New liver-targeted chemo combo aims to buy more time for bile duct cancer patients

Summary
This study compares standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine and oxaliplatin) alone versus adding a liver-directed treatment (HAI FUDR/dexamethasone) for people with bile duct cancer that has spread only to the liver and can't be surgically removed. The goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth by at least 3 months. About 164 adults with good performance status are being recruited.
