Texting your doctor: vietnam tests chat app to catch lung disease early
NCT ID NCT07234929
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a chat app (Zalo) can help more people complete follow-up tests after an AI finds something abnormal on their chest X-ray. About 2,692 adults aged 40-62 in Vietnam will be split into two groups: one gets extra education and can ask doctors questions via the app, the other gets only basic results. The goal is to see if digital support boosts follow-up rates and speeds up diagnosis of lung cancer or TB.
