Chat app aims to close the Follow-Up gap after AI spots lung trouble
NCT ID NCT07234929
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a chat-based mobile app (Zalo) can help more people complete recommended follow-up tests after an AI-powered chest X-ray finds possible signs of lung cancer or tuberculosis. About 2,692 adults aged 40-62 in Vietnam will be split into two groups: one gets extra guidance and can ask doctors questions via the app, while the other gets only basic results. Researchers will then compare how many in each group actually get the follow-up tests done.
