First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compared charcoal-impregnated toothbrushes to regular ones to see if they reduce bacterial buildup. Thirty-two dental students brushed twice daily for 21 days, then their toothbrushes were tested for germs. The goal is to find out if charcoal bristles keep toothbrushes cleaner.
