Summary

This study looks at whether a special afterschool program called CHAMP can help children ages 5 to 8 be more physically active and improve their motor skills. About 264 kids will take part in the program or a regular afterschool activity for 19 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in activity levels, fitness, and body composition to see if the program works.
