Summary
This study tested a combination of three chemotherapy drugs (cladribine, homoharringtonine, and cytarabine) as a first treatment for adults under 60 with a type of blood cancer called acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The goal was to see how many patients achieved complete remission and how long they lived. The trial enrolled 65 people and measured survival and side effects over two years.
