Hospital to home: can a wearable sensor beat finger pricks for diabetes control?
NCT ID NCT07414277
Summary
This study is testing if a wearable continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps people with type 2 diabetes who use insulin manage their blood sugar better after leaving the hospital. It will compare the CGM to the standard method of checking blood sugar with finger-prick tests. Researchers want to see which method leads to better long-term blood sugar control and quality of life over 6 months.
