Study tests if Food-Focused coaching beats Self-Guided learning for new diabetes monitor users
NCT ID NCT05928572
Summary
This study tested two different ways to help people with type 2 diabetes start using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). It compared a nutrition-focused coaching approach against a self-guided approach to see which one helped people spend more time with their blood sugar in a healthy range. The study also looked at what happened when participants stopped using the monitor for four months after the initial training period.
