Could a tiny sensor help diabetes patients stay out of the hospital?
NCT ID NCT05360056
Summary
This study is testing whether wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps people with type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar better after they leave the hospital. The research team will give 108 hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes a CGM to wear for 12 weeks after discharge. They'll track how well patients use the device and whether it improves their blood sugar control and satisfaction with their treatment.
