New tech tested to protect moms and babies from diabetes risks
NCT ID NCT05317585
Summary
This study is testing if using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) during pregnancy is better than the standard fingerstick method for women with type 2 diabetes. It aims to see if the CGM helps prevent babies from growing too large and improves other health outcomes for both mother and child. Researchers will compare the two methods in 180 pregnant women to see which leads to better results.
