Glucose monitors tested as secret weapon against prediabetes

NCT ID NCT07423065

Summary

This study is testing if wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can help people with prediabetes and obesity change their lifestyle to prevent type 2 diabetes. It will compare whether seeing real-time glucose data on the monitor helps people eat better and be more active compared to wearing a monitor that doesn't show the data. The goal is to see if this technology can help people lose weight and improve their health before diabetes develops.
