First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can be used instead of the standard oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) to screen for diabetes after pregnancy in women who had gestational diabetes. Many women find the OGTT burdensome and skip it, so researchers want to see if a CGM is easier to use and still effective. About 1,300 women will wear a CGM sensor and return it for analysis.
