First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) every two months helps older adults (60+) with type 2 diabetes improve blood sugar control compared to standard finger-stick monitoring. Participants take oral diabetes drugs but not insulin. The trial lasts 6 months with clinic visits every 2 months, measuring changes in HbA1c and time spent in healthy glucose range.
