New online course aims to help kids with diabetes master their glucose levels

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual education program, called CGM Academy, helps youth (ages 8-18) with type 1 diabetes improve their blood sugar control compared to standard care. Participants will receive an interactive workbook and attend online group sessions with diabetes specialists. The study tracks changes in hemoglobin A1c and other glucose metrics over 6 months.
