Can new CF drugs tame diabetes? study investigates

NCT ID NCT07102043

Summary

This study aims to understand if a specific type of drug for cystic fibrosis (CFTR modulators) can improve how the body handles blood sugar in people who also have cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD). Researchers will compare two groups of people with CFRD: those taking the CFTR modulator drug and those who are not eligible for it. Participants will undergo a detailed meal test to measure how their bodies process sugar and insulin.
