Scientists hunt for hidden genes behind cystic fibrosis liver damage
NCT ID NCT00804583
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with cystic fibrosis develop serious liver disease while others do not. Researchers are looking at genes other than the main CF gene that might influence this risk. They are analyzing blood samples and medical information from about 150 participants to find connections between genetics and disease severity.
