Could your Home's water be making CF patients sick?

NCT ID NCT07369414

Summary

This study aims to understand if bacteria found in household water, dust, and soil contribute to serious lung infections in people with cystic fibrosis (CF). Researchers will compare homes of 120 CF patients—some with these infections and some without—to identify common environmental sources. The goal is to gather evidence for future prevention strategies to keep CF patients healthier.
