First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested whether an online education program could help school-age children (ages 6-11) with cystic fibrosis and their parents better understand health information. 104 children and their parents were split into two groups: one received the online lessons, the other did not. Researchers measured health literacy levels before and after the program to see if the education made a difference.
