New stapling device aims for better C-Section scars

Summary
This study will compare two methods for closing the skin after a cesarean delivery: traditional absorbable stitches versus a newer type of absorbable staple placed under the skin. Researchers want to see if the staples lead to shorter surgery times and better-looking scars with less pain. About 237 women having a planned C-section will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two closure methods.
