Glue vs stitches: which makes a better C-Section scar?

NCT ID NCT05903547

Summary

This study compared two methods for closing C-section incisions: a special skin glue system versus traditional stitches. Researchers wanted to see which method led to better scar appearance and higher patient satisfaction 4-6 weeks after surgery. They also tracked wound infections, pain, and surgery time in 151 women who had C-sections.
