First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using cervical dilators (tools to open the cervix) before starting labor medication can shorten the time to delivery in second-trimester pregnancy terminations. 355 women participated. The main goal was to see if more women delivered within 12 hours with dilators compared to medication alone.
