New vaccine combo tested in fight against advanced cervical cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental vaccine (PDS0101) to standard chemotherapy and radiation is safe for patients with locally advanced cervical cancer. The vaccine is designed to help the immune system target cancer cells linked to HPV. Researchers will enroll about 22 patients to monitor side effects and see if the combined approach helps control the cancer.
