Summary
This study tested a new treatment plan for people with advanced cervical cancer (stages IB2 to IVA). The plan combined radiation and chemotherapy (cisplatin and gemcitabine) followed by more chemotherapy with gemcitabine. The goal was to see if this sequence could improve how long patients lived without their cancer getting worse. The study enrolled 19 participants but was stopped early.
