Summary
This study tested if adding an immunotherapy drug called atezolizumab to the standard treatment of chemotherapy and radiation could better control advanced cervical cancer that had spread to lymph nodes. The goal was to see if the drug could help the patient's own immune system attack the cancer. Researchers also wanted to learn the safest way to time the drug with the standard treatment.
