Summary

This study tested whether adding a follow-up chemotherapy drug (gemcitabine) after standard radiation and chemotherapy could better control advanced cervical cancer. It involved 19 women with stage IB2 to IVA cervical cancer who had not received prior cancer treatments. The trial was terminated early, so full results are not available.
