New cervical cancer study tests adding immunotherapy before surgery

Summary
This study aims to find out which treatment approach works better for locally advanced cervical cancer. It will compare the current standard treatment (chemotherapy plus radiation) against a newer approach that adds an immunotherapy drug to chemotherapy before surgery. The goal is to see if the newer approach helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
