First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether removing only the sentinel lymph node (the first node cancer might spread to) is as safe as removing many pelvic lymph nodes in women with early cervical cancer. 267 women took part. The goal was to see which approach causes fewer complications and how it affects quality of life and costs.
