Simple Self-Test could prevent cervical cancer in thousands of women

Summary
This study looks at whether women in Uganda can prevent cervical cancer by using a self-administered HPV test at home or in community health campaigns. The test checks for the virus that can lead to cervical cancer, allowing early treatment. Over 2,500 women aged 25-49 are taking part to see how many complete screening and get follow-up care if needed.
