Home test kit trial aims to boost cancer screening for hesitant women
NCT ID NCT05656976
Summary
This study is testing whether offering a free, at-home self-sampling kit helps more women get screened for cervical cancer. It focuses on women aged 31-64 in Belgium who haven't had a screening test in over 6 years. Researchers are comparing the kit's effectiveness when offered directly by a doctor versus when sent by mail, against the standard method of reminder letters.
