Can friends help beat cervical cancer? uganda trial tests peer power
NCT ID NCT06010160
Summary
This study is testing whether a peer support program can encourage more women in Uganda to get screened for cervical cancer. Women who have recently been screened will be trained to advocate for screening within their social circles. The goal is to see if this approach leads more of their friends and family members to get screened, helping to prevent cervical cancer.
