Researchers map how kids with cerebral palsy sit to prevent spine problems

NCT ID NCT05657548

Summary

This study aims to better understand how sitting posture affects the spine and pelvis in children with cerebral palsy who have limited walking ability. Researchers will take special X-rays of 100 children aged 4-17 while they are sitting to measure various spinal angles. The goal is to create a standard way to monitor these children's spines over time to help prevent painful deformities.
