New ankle brace design aims to help kids with CP walk better

NCT ID NCT05269745

Summary

This study tested two different ankle brace treatments for children with cerebral palsy. Researchers wanted to see if a new brace design, which allows for some muscle activity while stretching, works better than a standard brace that mostly immobilizes the ankle. They measured changes in muscle structure, ankle movement, strength, and how the children walked.
