Scientists scan brains to unlock why some cerebral palsy patients walk better after therapy

NCT ID NCT04360395

Summary

This study aims to understand why some teens and young adults with cerebral palsy improve their walking after a special training program, while others do not. Researchers will use brain scans and other tests to measure changes in the brain, spinal cord, and movement before and after the walking therapy. The goal is to learn what physical differences might predict who benefits most from this type of treatment.
