First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study observes 30 adults on a heart-lung machine (VA-ECMO) for severe heart failure. Researchers will measure brain oxygen levels and compare them with blood flow and heart function data. The goal is to learn how these factors relate, not to test a new treatment. Participants must be 18 or older and expected to need support for at least 24 hours.
