Scientists probe link between heartbeat and brain blood flow

Summary
This study looks at how changing heart rate changes blood flow to the brain. Researchers will temporarily pace the hearts of 20 adults already scheduled for a heart procedure, then measure brain blood flow using ultrasound. The goal is to better understand the relationship, not to treat any condition.
