Zapping the brain to restore attention after stroke

NCT ID NCT07580066

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation method called cTBS can improve attention in adults who have trouble noticing things on one side after a stroke. Sixty participants will receive either real or fake stimulation while researchers track their eye movements and brain activity. The goal is to understand if stimulating the cerebellum can help shift attention back to the neglected side.
