First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study explored whether people with cervicogenic headache (headache coming from the neck) have more nerve pain and a hypersensitive central nervous system compared to healthy people. Researchers compared 72 adults with and without the condition using questionnaires about pain, sleep, mood, and daily function. The goal was to better understand the underlying pain mechanisms, not to test a treatment.
