Lung cancer vaccine combo shows promise in early trial

Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether adding an mRNA vaccine (BNT116) to standard immunotherapy (cemiplimab) works better than immunotherapy alone for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 51 patients whose tumors have high PD-L1 levels will receive either the combination or just cemiplimab. The study aims to see if the vaccine helps shrink tumors and improve response rates.
