Knee implant showdown: which sticks better?

NCT ID NCT03522025

Summary

This study aims to find out which type of partial knee replacement implant stays fixed in the bone better over time: one that uses surgical cement or one that doesn't. It will follow 70 patients with severe arthritis in just one part of their knee for up to 5 years after surgery. Doctors will use X-rays and patient surveys to compare how stable the two different implants are and how well patients recover.
