First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a woman's own muscle cells into the urinary sphincter can reduce leaks in those with stress urinary incontinence that persists or returns after surgery. Half of the 96 participants receive the cell injection, half receive a placebo. The goal is to see if this treatment safely lowers the number of leak episodes.
