Doctors test skin cell transplants to restore color in vitiligo
NCT ID NCT07187882
Summary
This study is testing a surgical procedure that transplants a patient's own healthy skin cells into areas affected by vitiligo, aiming to restore skin color. It will enroll 30 people with stable vitiligo that hasn't responded well to medications or light therapy. Researchers will track how well the new pigment returns and lasts over six months to see if this is a safe and effective long-term treatment option.
