Scientists test Patient's own supercharged immune cells to fight lung cancer

NCT ID NCT07202611

Summary

This study is testing whether a personalized immune cell therapy is safe for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, grow large numbers of them in a lab, and then inject them back into the patient to help fight the cancer. The trial is for patients whose cancer has continued to grow despite trying at least two other standard treatments like chemotherapy or immunotherapy.
