Your own fat cells could ease arthritic hip pain

NCT ID NCT02844764

Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment using a patient's own fat and blood cells can safely reduce pain and inflammation from hip osteoarthritis. Doctors will inject processed cells directly into the affected hip joint. Researchers will track pain levels, mobility, and quality of life over six months to see if the treatment helps delay or avoid hip replacement surgery.
