New infusion tested to tame gluten reaction in celiac patients

NCT ID NCT05660109

Summary

This study tested a new medicine called TPM502, given by infusion, to see if it could help adults with celiac disease become more tolerant to gluten. Researchers wanted to know if the treatment was safe and if it changed the body's immune response to gluten. Participants received two infusions and underwent controlled gluten challenges to measure the effects.
