Summary
This study tested whether celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory drug, can reduce brain inflammation in people with major depression. 41 adults with depression received PET scans before and after 8 weeks of celecoxib treatment. The goal was to see if lowering inflammation in key brain areas improves mood symptoms.
